The purpose of the study is to substantiate a theoretical and methodological approach to assessing the systemic impact of cross-cultural consulting on the innovative development of the national economy. The object of the study is the dissemination of knowledge, managerial practices and technological innovations among enterprises, employees, consultants, educational and research institutions, and public authorities amid intensified international economic interaction. Cross-cultural consulting is defined as a specialised form of professional support aimed at diagnosing cultural and language barriers, developing intercultural competence, adapting managerial communication and improving the effectiveness of international knowledge transfer. It is substantiated that its influence extends beyond an individual enterprise and affects the quality of human capital, trust among economic actors, decision-making speed, external knowledge absorption, innovation cooperation and the effectiveness of economic policy. An integrated systemic impact index is proposed, comprising institutional coordination, human capital and competence, organisational communication, and innovation network components. The study specifies indicators, normalisation procedures, weighting principles and interpretation levels for the resulting assessment. The combination of quantitative indicators with qualitative assessments by employees, managers, partners and consultants is justified because intercultural competence, trust and adaptability are behavioural characteristics. The proposed approach makes it possible to identify areas where cultural and language barriers constrain innovation diffusion and to determine the most appropriate consulting and policy interventions. In our view, its implementation provides a basis for supporting international innovation networks, strengthening consulting infrastructure and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.Downloads
