Abstract

The current stage of economic development underscores the increasing importance of the human factor in achieving managerial efficiency. In the context of digital transformation, competition, and global challenges, traditional technical knowledge is giving way to competencies that emphasize communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence. Thus, Soft Skills form the basis of a new management paradigm, in which the primary resource is the individual able to cooperate and adapt. The purpose of the study is to justify the role of soft skills in modern management and to develop an authorial model for their continuous development as a factor in shaping emotional leadership and a resilient corporate culture. The methodology relies on analysis and synthesis, as well as comparative and structural-functional approaches, expert evaluation, and content analysis of academic sources and corporate training practices. As a result of the study, the concept of Soft Skills within the context of managerial competencies was clarified, and their main groups – communicative, socio-ethical, emotional-volitional, and creative-organizational – were systematized. It was demonstrated that emotional intelligence, communicative culture, and leadership maturity constitute the core of a manager’s soft competencies, and their combination creates the prerequisites for a shift from administrative to human-centered management. The author developed the «Soft Skills Loop» model, which outlines five stages of managerial competency development: self-awareness, interaction, reflection, improvement, and transformation. The model illustrates the cyclical and integrative nature of soft skills growth, fostering an emotional leadership culture, strengthening team trust, and enhancing organizational resilience. Conclusion. The practical significance of the findings lies in the potential to apply the proposed model within corporate training programs, HR development strategies, and personnel assessment and motivation systems, thereby enhancing management efficiency, leadership quality, and overall organizational competitiveness.
