The article considers the issue of personnel motivation, conducts a critical review of material and non-material ways of encouraging employees to work effectively. Data analysis is carried out to understand the evolution of personnel motivation at the enterprise. It is established that personnel motivation is an important aspect of the balanced operation of the enterprise and its stable economic development in the realities of wartime. Methods of motivating personnel of a modern enterprise are summarized from the experience of different countries and principles of motivating personnel in the conditions of an unstable economic situation in Ukraine, in conditions of uncontrolled physical and mental threats to employees are systematized. Emphasis is placed on the fact that methods of motivating personnel, material and non-material, are synergistically interconnected. The relevance of a particular method of motivation at a modern enterprise depends on many factors, among which an important place is occupied by the ability of personnel to adapt and self-motivate in conditions of uncertainty and risks. It has been established that the system of personnel motivation at a modern enterprise in wartime has a rather specific structure and methodological content, since the management of the business entity must be oriented not only to the needs of the team or the age category of personnel representatives, but above all demonstrate empathy for the fears and experiences of each employee. It has been proven that in business management, multitasking of team members is gradually coming to the fore, that is, an approach when one employee can quickly replace another, which is relevant in conditions of war risks and prolonged mobilization. The head of the enterprise must motivate employees not only to effective work, to high professional results, but also to productive self-development and self-management. It is argued that although motivation in conditions of physical and mental danger for individuals has a pronounced emotional basis, material incentives that allow employees to be confident in the level of their own economic security in the future still remain relevant and in demand.Downloads
