The purpose of the article is to substantiate the place of future expertise in the modern methodology of scientific research in the field 07 «Management and Administration». The object of the study is the modern methodology of scientific research in this specialty. It is proven that it is the systematic improvement of the methodology of scientific research and conducting expertise in the specialty 07 «Management and Administration» that contributes to improving the quality and relevance of scientific achievements. The article identifies the importance of the topic of future expertise in the context of improving the methodology of scientific research in the field 07 «Management and Administration». It is proven that the modern dynamics of social and economic changes impose new requirements on methodological approaches, in particular the need to integrate scientometric tools (Scopus, Web of Science) and interdisciplinary practices. The need for a wider implementation of innovative methods (system modeling, big data analysis) in management and administration research is substantiated. The key principles of modern research methodology in specialty 07 (systematicity, innovation, evidence, publicity and academic integrity) have been established and the main areas of expertise have been identified (assessment of publications and research, dissertations, educational programs and management practices). The practical value of the work lies in the fact that the proposed approaches can be used to improve educational programs, develop methodological recommendations and strengthen the scientific basis of management decisions. In particular, the results of the analysis serve as a basis for holding further conferences and round tables on methodology, as well as for improving the scientific level of dissertation programs. In general, this contributes to strengthening the interaction of scientists and practitioners and the development of an entire field devoted to the problems of management and administration.
