Abstract

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and applied principles of business planning for the implementation of flexible project management methods in the consulting activities of entrepreneurial structures, as well as to determine the factors that affect the effectiveness of Agile transformation. The paper reveals the specifics of adapting flexible methodologies to the conditions of the consulting business, which is characterized by a high intellectual component, volatile client demands, and the necessity of ensuring quick management decisions. The research methods include a systematic analysis of modern scientific approaches to Agile management, a comparative analysis of traditional and flexible planning models, methods for structuring influencing factors, the construction of conceptual models, as well as elements of expert generalization regarding the effectiveness of implementing digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools. The application of a comprehensive methodological approach allowed the integration of organizational, economic, cultural, and technological aspects of Agile transformation into a single logical assessment structure. The research results determined a systematic set of factors that shape the readiness of consulting companies to apply flexible approaches, identified specific barriers and drivers of transformation, and structured the key directions of the influence of digital tools on project management processes. A conceptual model of Agile business planning in consulting was constructed, which combines client needs analysis, determination of flexible project parameters, adaptive budgeting, results forecasting, and risk management. An integrated system of criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of Agile implementation was developed, allowing for objective measurement of process dynamics, financial results, client value, and team productivity. Practical recommendations were also formulated for increasing the effectiveness of Agile transformation, which involve phased implementation of changes, strengthening the role of digital infrastructure, and using artificial intelligence for analytics and automation of management processes. The conclusions outline the significance of the proposed models and assessment systems for increasing the organizational adaptability of consulting companies. It is confirmed that the use of Agile in combination with modern digital technologies forms the basis for strengthening competitive advantages and improving the efficiency of providing consulting services. Prospective directions for further research are noted, related to the development of extended economic models for performance assessment and the study of behavioral aspects of teams in the transformation process.
