Abstract

Abstract: The article investigates the essence and role of content marketing within the structure of digital marketing as a key component of modern marketing communications. The main purpose is to determine the importance of content in building brand competitiveness, analyze the interrelation between content strategy, digital tools, and consumer behavior in the online environment. Methods. The study applies methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, and generalization to systematize scientific approaches to defining digital marketing. Content analysis was used to identify the main functions of content marketing, while a systematic approach allowed to outline its position within the digital communication framework. Results. The findings prove that content marketing performs a strategic role in digital communications, combining informational, emotional, and commercial impacts on the audience. The article identifies key types of content by function (informational, educational, entertaining, social, commercial) and format (text, visual, video, audio, interactive, user-generated). The effectiveness of content marketing depends on creativity, responsiveness, personalization, and analytical insights. The study demonstrates that content acts as a unifying element in the digital ecosystem, integrating SEO, SMM, email marketing, PPC advertising, and CRM analytics into a cohesive communication system. Conclusions. Content marketing serves as the foundation for building long-term relationships between brands and consumers in the digital space.
