Organizational support for the creation of eco-industrial parks with the participation of woodworking enterprises

Abstract

The article analyzes scientific proposals for the creation of integrated structures involving woodworking enterprises. The purpose of the article is to form the structure of an eco-industrial park with the participation of enterprises engaged in wood processing and the production of wood products, and to summarize the stages of its creation. The state of the processes of forming industrial parks in Ukraine in general, and in the woodworking industry in particular, is investigated. The existing system of state support for the organization of industrial parks, declared in the “Made in Ukraine” program, is considered. Production processes that generate waste, which is a secondary resource for recycling, are summarized. A structure of an eco-industrial park has been proposed that realizes the economic interests of all its participants and allows for the recycling of production waste. It is assumed that within the structure of the eco-industrial park, the final demand for wood products will be generated by furniture manufacturers and companies producing wooden buildings. A system of government orders and legislative requirements for the use of national wood products has been proposed. The set of stages for organizing an eco-industrial park has been formed as a sequence of the following actions: state audit of resource potential; formation of a transparent program of state orders for products of eco-industrial parks; determination of the territorial location of the eco-industrial park; search for a management company; development of the structure of the eco-industrial park; formation of a business plan, search for sources of financing; voluntary labeling of products as “Ukrainian environmentally friendly products of a sustainable economy”; creation of a scientific and technological center for the development of innovations in woodworking, the furniture industry, and waste processing.
