Abstract

The article considers crisis and risk management in organizations through the prism of security. The aim of the study is to substantiate conceptual approaches to the formation of an integrated crisis management system that minimizes losses and maintains business stability in conditions of uncertainty. The methodological basis of the study was general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, and induction, which were used to generalize modern approaches to risk management in domestic organizations. For a deeper study of the material, a comparative method was used, which made it possible to identify the greatest risks and crisis situations affecting the activities and development of domestic organizations, as well as a systematic approach, which made it possible to integrate the security component into the processes of risk management and crisis response. The results of the study show that political factors, war and shelling, economic, operational, information, and personnel risks are the most critical for Ukrainian organizations, which, combined with crisis events, lead to significant financial and reputational losses. The article proves that the effectiveness of crisis management directly depends on the implementation of preventive strategies, adaptive risk management models, and the use of digital technologies in monitoring and forecasting systems, as well as innovative approaches to assessing future risks. Key areas of risk and crisis management in enterprises and organizations in Ukraine, various risk response scenarios, staff training, and the identification of key aspects of post-crisis analysis are proposed. The conclusions substantiate that the integration of risk management and crisis management, taking into account the security aspect, forms the basis for the sustainable development of organizations in a turbulent environment. The identified areas can be used to create corporate anti-crisis plans, improve staff training, and reduce the likelihood of destructive consequences of crisis situations, as well as form the basis for future interdisciplinary research in the field of crisis consequences for organizations and risk management.
