Abstract

Topic relevance. In the context of an unstable macroeconomic situation caused by hostilities, inflation, exchange rate changes and global disruptions in logistics chains, Ukrainian agricultural enterprises are faced with the need to implement adaptive management mechanisms. Modern digital technologies, in particular the concept of digital twins, open up new opportunities for strengthening the resilience of agribusiness to external shocks. The use of digital tools by enterprises allows for effective scenario modeling, risk forecasting and timely management decision-making.

The purpose of the article is to study the conceptual foundations of the creation and implementation of digital twins in the activities of agribusiness enterprises as a tool for adapting to macroeconomic shocks, as well as to determine the practical advantages of their use to ensure flexibility and management efficiency.

Research methods. The work uses an interdisciplinary approach that includes methods of system analysis, comparative analysis of modern IT solutions, modeling of adaptation strategies of enterprises. The basis for the empirical analysis was statistical data of agro-industrial enterprises, as well as cases of international practice of implementing digital twins in agriculture.

Results. The study substantiated the effectiveness of using digital twins to increase the adaptive potential of agricultural enterprises in conditions of macroeconomic instability. It was determined that digital twins allow modeling production, financial and logistics processes, promptly responding to changes in the external environment, predicting the consequences of management decisions and minimizing risks. A generalized conceptual model of a digital twin and an implementation roadmap were built, which takes into account the stages of data collection and processing, creating a virtual representation and integration with decision-making systems.

Practical value. The results of the study can be used by managers of agro-industrial enterprises, IT specialists, and digital transformation consultants to implement innovative management tools. The proposed approaches will contribute to the formation of a new management culture based on data transparency, digital models, dynamism and flexibility in making management decisions.

Conclusions. Digital twins are a promising tool for ensuring the resilience of enterprises to macroeconomic shocks. Their implementation allows to increase the efficiency of resource planning, reduce costs, reduce the time of response to market changes and form a flexible adaptation strategy. In the future, digital twins can become a key element in the architecture of digital agribusiness in Ukraine.
