Abstract

The article considers the complex aspect of banking security as an integral component of the national security of the state. The authors emphasize that banking security directly affects the economic independence of the country, social security of the population and the general level of well-being. In the context of globalization and integration of national economies, the banking sector is becoming more vulnerable to various threats, such as cybercrime, financial elite, and fraud using innovative technologies.

The article provides data on the increase in cases of cyberattacks on banking institutions, which raises concerns about the protection of confidential customer information and financial resources. The authors analyze the main risks associated with these threats, as well as their impact on public confidence in the banking system. In addition, the phenomenon of shadow banking and its negative impact on the economic stability of the country are considered.

The article pays special attention to strategic approaches to ensuring banking security. The authors propose comprehensive solutions, including the integration of modern information technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, to detect and prevent financial crimes in real time. In addition, training and advanced training of personnel in the field of cybersecurity, as well as the establishment of international partnerships for the exchange of experience and technologies, are important.
