Abstract

In the context of the ongoing digital transformation of the agricultural sector, there is an increasing need to update approaches to strategic enterprise management. Constant changes in market conditions, climate risks, growing competition, and the need for rational resource use require agribusinesses to adopt more flexible and analytically grounded management decisions. Digital platforms offer a new quality of planning, forecasting, decision-making, and risk management, enabling agricultural enterprises to effectively adapt to external challenges and build long-term strategic resilience.

The aim of the study is to substantiate the feasibility of using digital platforms in the strategic management of agricultural enterprises and to determine their impact on improving the efficiency of management processes.
The methodological basis of the article includes a systems approach, methods of theoretical generalization, comparative analysis, and the case method to examine practical examples of digital solution implementation.

As a result of the study, digital platforms were classified according to their functional purpose (ERP, CRM, SCM, IoT, BI), and their role in the strategic management of agricultural enterprises was analyzed. The key functional advantages of digital solutions were identified, including the ability to generate accurate forecasts, build business development scenarios, respond to risks in a timely manner, and integrate all management levels into a unified information environment. Practical case studies of platform implementation in Ukrainian and international agribusinesses were examined, demonstrating the positive impact of digitalization on business efficiency and adaptability. The main barriers to the implementation of digital platforms were outlined, including financial constraints, staffing shortages, low levels of digital literacy, and institutional weaknesses.

The practical value of the study lies in the development of recommendations for expanding digital capabilities in the agricultural sector, increasing the digital maturity of enterprises, and integrating digital platforms into strategic management systems.
