Optimization of enterprise management processes based on strategic management: theoretical and applied aspect

The article explores the strategic approach to enterprise management as an effective tool for optimizing managerial processes under the current conditions of socio-economic instability and digital transformation. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the role of strategic management in shaping a flexible, adaptive, and result-oriented management system capable of responding to dynamic changes in the external environment.
The methodological basis of the research includes system and process approaches as well as strategic analysis methods such as SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, strategic mapping, and the Balanced Scorecard toolkit. Within the framework of empirical justification, the study applies an analysis of current practices of enterprises operating in various economic sectors, alongside a critical review of academic publications and conceptual models of strategic management.
The results confirm that implementing strategic management enables the alignment of operational and long-term goals, improves resource utilization efficiency, ensures organizational flexibility, and strengthens crisis resilience. Key barriers to implementing strategic approaches in Ukrainian enterprises have been identified, including a lack of strategic culture, insufficient managerial competencies, and limited access to analytical data. The feasibility of applying adaptive models of strategic management involving modern digital instruments such as ERP systems, cloud services, scenario modeling, and digital twins is substantiated.
The conclusions emphasize that strategic management not only introduces systematicity into managerial processes but also creates a foundation for proactive enterprise development under uncertainty. Further research is recommended to focus on the development of sector-specific strategic models, taking into account the peculiarities of small and medium-sized businesses and the realities of the digital economy. In addition, it is advisable to deepen the study of strategic management effectiveness in crisis and post-crisis conditions.
