Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive study of product collaborations in virtual space as a form of emotional marketing strategy. It highlights the prerequisites for the rise of emotional approaches in brand communication with target audiences in the context of digital transformation of consumer practices. The paper emphasizes that modern consumers in virtual environments seek experience, participation, and personalized interaction, which necessitates a rethinking of marketing tools and their functions.

Based on an interdisciplinary analysis, emotional marketing is explored as a conceptual foundation for building long-term communicative relationships. Its methodological basis is outlined, including the influence of behavioral economics, social psychology, and impression theory on the formation of emotional bonds with brands. The specific features of virtual space as a communicative channel–its flexibility, intensity, and multichannel capabilities–are examined in detail.

A typology of product collaborations in digital environments is proposed, structured by format, interactivity, depth of integration, and emotional impact. A comparative analysis of case examples reveals the main mechanisms of emotional influence: aesthetic engagement, nostalgia, cultural identification, interactive participation, and a sense of exclusivity. It is emphasized that successful collaborations do not merely attract attention but generate symbolic proximity between brand and consumer.

At the same time, the risks associated with these strategies are analyzed, including communication field oversaturation, loss of value authenticity, and ethical challenges related to emotional manipulation within algorithmic targeting. The study concludes that collaborations in virtual space possess high potential for shaping emotionally charged communication landscapes but require strategic balance, meaningful content, and ethical responsibility.
