Abstract

In the current context, tourism serves not only as an economic sector but also as a socially significant domain that requires a rethinking of management strategies in light of ethical, environmental, and technological challenges. Relevance of the study is driven by the growing importance of socially oriented approaches in the activities of tourism enterprises amid digital transformation and the need to ensure sustainable development. The increasing focus on corporate social responsibility and business innovation necessitates the search for effective mechanisms to integrate these elements in order to enhance the resilience and competitiveness of the industry. The aim of the article is to substantiate the relationship between innovative development and the level of social responsibility of tourism enterprises, and to identify mechanisms that ensure their effective integration within the paradigm of sustainable development. Methods. A systematic approach was applied, along with structural-functional analysis, content analysis of digital practices and corporate social responsibility elements, and the comparative method to identify barriers and prospects. A critical synthesis of inclusive tourism practices using digital technologies as tools of social impact was also conducted. Results. It was established that the most promising models are those in which social responsibility functions not only as external policy but as an embedded mechanism within business processes. Scientific novelty lies in identifying directions for the transformation of corporate social responsibility under the influence of digital innovation, as well as in classifying mechanisms that create synergy between the social function of business and its innovation dynamics. Conclusions. It has been proven that the integration of corporate social responsibility and innovative solutions is a strategic factor in increasing the competitiveness of tourism enterprises. Digital technologies are shown to not only support the communication of social initiatives but also to transform internal management processes. The effectiveness of such integration depends on the level of digital readiness, organizational maturity, and professional capacity of personnel. It has been demonstrated that the synergy between corporate social responsibility and innovation shapes a new paradigm for the sustainable and socially impactful development of the tourism industry. Prospects for further research involve the development of an integrated model for assessing the effectiveness of innovative practices, taking into account their social impact under the conditions of transformation of Ukraine’s tourism market.
