Abstract

The article explores innovative approaches to cost management of industrial enterprises during the reconstruction process, taking into account the contemporary challenges of production modernization and resource transformation. The relevance of the work is driven by the need to improve financial planning mechanisms, strategic cost management, and enhance resource efficiency in the context of an unstable economic environment and active digitalization of production processes. The purpose of the research is to identify effective tools for cost optimization during the reconstruction of enterprises, develop scientifically grounded approaches to implementing innovations in the financial resource management system, and create an adaptive model of cost control. Methods. To achieve this goal, methods of systematic and comparative analysis, business process modeling, structural-logical generalization, and expert evaluation have been used. The research covers factors influencing the growth of production costs during the modernization period, as well as the peculiarities of their strategic planning at all stages of reconstruction changes. The results of the study developed the concept of innovative cost management, combining the principles of strategic budgeting and digital cost monitoring. It has been proven that the effectiveness of these approaches directly depends on the quality of financial accounting, access to analytical platforms, the level of digital skills of the staff, and the integration of processes into the enterprise's overall strategy. The prospects for using digital solutions to improve the transparency of cost operations, strategic forecasting, and support for decision-making based on data have been outlined. The conclusions state that the implementation of innovative approaches to cost management during reconstruction contributes to achieving a high level of financial stability, increasing the efficiency of production processes, and forming long-term advantages in the competitive market. Practical recommendations are provided for building an integrated financial management system that incorporates principles of resource efficiency and strategic goal orientation.
