Assessing the impact of global economic changes on business and trade strategies in Ukraine

Abstract

The article examines the impact of global economic changes on Ukraіnian business and trade. Thіs study allowed to develop effective mechanisms for business to adapt to the current economic environment, identify the main risks and identify the best ways to develop entrepreneurship and trade in a sustainable manner.

The goal is to assess the impact of global economic changes on business and trade in Ukraine, identify the main challenges and formulate ways to adapt business to current market conditions. To achieve this goal, the following key tasks were set: to substantiate the main global economic changes that affect business activities; to identify key challenges for Ukraіnian business in the current environment; to analyze the strategies of trading enterprises and their competitive positions in the market; to offer recommendations that will help to increase the effectiveness of state support for entrepreneurship and trade in Ukraіne.

The research methodology includes mechanisms and principles used to assess the impact of global economic changes on the development of entrepreneurship and trade in Ukraіne. In writing the article, the author used general scientific and special methods that allowed to assess the impact of global economic changes from different angles, in particular, to identify the main risks and opportunities for Ukrainіan business in the field of trade.

The study proves that business and trade strategies in Ukraine are based on the following key elements: high-performance innovation, export orientation, sustainable development, flexibility of operations, and adaptation to global challenges. Under these conditions, it is important to integrate modern management approaches, expand relations in international markets, and improve the rating of domestic trade in Ukraіne for successful functioning.

The conclusions show that the overall assessment of the impact of global economic changes on business and trade in Ukraіne is hybrid, i.e., some factors (digitalization, international partnerships, and environmental standards) open up new opportunities, while others (economic volatility, economic risks, and infrastructure destruction) pose serious obstacles.
