Process approach to changes in energy enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to characterize the features of the process approach to changes at energy enterprises. The object of the study is energy enterprises. The main task of the article is to determine the advantages of the process approach to changes at energy enterprises. It is proven that the process approach to changes at energy enterprises is one of the key mechanisms for ensuring energy security and developing security potential in a modern changing environment. Its essence lies in considering each type of activity as an integral process with defined boundaries, input and output parameters, as well as appropriate resources and control mechanisms. Such a methodology enables a systematic understanding of the interaction between all links and contributes to improving results through a comprehensive organization of work. A comparison of the process approach with the functional and situational approaches indicates the higher efficiency of the former in conditions of complex distributed processes, where high synchronization of actions and quick decision-making are required. At the same time, the functional approach remains useful for a clear division of responsibilities, and the situational approach for adapting to unique conditions. However, it is the process methodology that enables continuous improvement and transparent coordination, which is crucial in the field of ensuring energy security. In general, its application brings a synergistic effect, increasing the effectiveness of change management and creating a reliable basis for the stable development of energy enterprises. It has been determined that the implementation of the process approach at energy enterprises has a number of advantages. Firstly, a high consumer orientation is formed, which is manifested in the optimization of services and products for maximum compliance with the needs of end users. Secondly, due to the clear division of responsibility and transparency of actions, manageability and quality control are enhanced, which is especially relevant in the context of constant technological innovations.
