Abstract

This article examines indicators of the risk of bankruptcy among agricultural enterprises in the context of economic instability and escalating military-economic risks. The main factors increasing the risk of insolvency for enterprises in the agricultural sector are identified, including the seasonality of production, market instability, logistical constraints, and rising production costs. Modern methods for forecasting enterprise bankruptcy are analyzed, and it is established that most classical models do not sufficiently account for the sector-specific characteristics of the agricultural sector.

The study employs methods of theoretical generalization, systems analysis, comparison, and structural-logical modeling. An assessment of financial and non-financial indicators of the risk of bankruptcy for agricultural enterprises was conducted. It was established that the most informative indicators for the early diagnosis of crisis phenomena are liquidity, profitability, financial stability, crop yields, and logistics indicators.

Based on the research results, an adapted early warning system for the risk of bankruptcy of agricultural enterprises has been developed, which is based on the comprehensive use of financial and non-financial indicators and provides for continuous monitoring of key performance indicators of the enterprise. It has been demonstrated that the proposed approach enhances the effectiveness of crisis management and enables the timely identification of crisis trends in the operations of agricultural enterprises.
