Abstract

The article examines the mechanisms for integrating product quality indicators into online marketing and promotion systems, taking into account the approaches of commercial commodity science and the specific features of digital distribution channels. The relevance of the topic is substantiated in the context of the digitalization of the economy, the growing role of e-commerce, and increasing consumer demands regarding product quality and transparency of information. It is established that in the modern digital environment, product quality functions not only as a set of consumer properties but also as an informational resource that directly influences consumer behavior and the effectiveness of marketing communications. The study employs methods of system analysis, generalization, comparison, and logical modeling, which made it possible to comprehensively examine the process of transforming commodity characteristics into a digital format. It is determined that the effective integration of quality indicators into online marketing requires their structuring, adaptation to digital content formats, and application across various distribution channels, including marketplaces, websites, and social media. It is proven that the combination of product quality characteristics with digital promotion tools contributes to increasing consumer trust, reducing information uncertainty, and enhancing enterprise competitiveness. Approaches to grouping quality indicators according to functional, technical, aesthetic, ergonomic, and safety characteristics with their subsequent integration into digital marketing strategies are proposed. Particular attention is paid to the role of reviews, ratings, and visual content as tools for representing product quality in the digital environment. The conclusions emphasize the necessity of forming comprehensive quality management approaches in the context of digital marketing, ensuring consistency between the actual characteristics of a product and their perception by consumers.
