Abstract

The article explores the concept and features of forming emotional motivation in personnel management, emphasizing its impact on employee engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction, as well as on creating a socio-psychological climate within the team. It highlights the components of emotional intelligence.

The study's relevance. Today's management environment, employee motivation is one of the most important factors affecting the efficiency of organizations. When it comes to motivation, most people immediately think of financial incentives or material bonuses, but the emotional aspect of motivation is no less important. Emotional motivation is the influence of emotional factors on employee behavior, engagement, and desire to work for results. It is not only about encouraging employees to perform specific tasks, but also about creating a positive emotional climate in the organization, which contributes to overall productivity and job satisfaction.

A number of factors influencing emotional motivation within a team are analyzed. It is also determined that the main conditions necessary for fostering an atmosphere of trust among employees include: established communication, organized information flows, a structured self-management system, shared goals, and motivation to achieve them.

The article emphasizes the role of a leader’s emotional intelligence in managing team emotions, which helps build trusting relationships and strengthen corporate culture. Classical motivation theories that explain various levels of needs affecting motivation are reviewed.

Conclusions. Practical tools are proposed for leaders, including creating an emotionally supportive environment, recognizing employee achievements, developing career opportunities, and organizing team-building activities. The authors stress that effective emotional motivation not only boosts productivity but also strengthens loyalty and reduces employee turnover, making it a valuable element of modern business management strategies.
