Abstract

Abstract: Enterprise reputation as a management category is becoming increasingly significant in today's environment, as economic relations between business entities are increasingly based on emotions, which determine the degree of interaction intensity. The impact of reputation on a company's stability, market success, and profitability is an undeniable fact. The same can be said about leadership, which is also gaining popularity in the business sphere, creating conditions for effective teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders. Since leadership and reputation are management categories associated with psychological tools of influence, the purpose of this article is to investigate the impact of structural elements of leadership on the development of reputation management. Using methods of observation, generalization, and deduction, it was found that the factors influencing the development of leadership abilities also affect the development of enterprise reputation. Some of these factors are also proposed to be considered as structural elements of leadership, which include: the type of leader, his/her orientation, leadership models, role differentiation, environment, and time requirements. The research findings established that all these components influence the reputation management process, namely the functions of planning, organizing, motivating, controlling, and regulating, which ensure reputation management. In particular, it was established that the personal orientation of the leader and his/her value priorities are decisive at the stage of reputation strategy planning; the type of business and role differentiation — in team organizing; situational and transformational leadership models — in selecting motivational tools for employee incentivization; and the type of leader (for example, authoritarian, democratic, or liberal) — in implementing control and regulation. The research results can be used by enterprise managers, HR managers, and reputation management specialists in developing reputation management strategies taking into account the leadership potential of the organization.
