Abstract

Abstract: This scientific work aims to substantiate the role of digitalization tools within the strategic management system of shipping companies to ensure their operational resilience. The research focuses on developing an integrated approach that combines the technical renewal of ship assets with the implementation of intelligent data analysis systems to mitigate the impact of geopolitical and market volatility. In the course of the study, critical destabilizing factors shaping the new operating environment for the Ukrainian fleet were identified, specifically the reorientation toward the Danube logistics hub and the tightening of IMO environmental regulations. It is demonstrated that the implementation of the "Smart Shipping" concept allows for the transformation of the management model from reactive to proactive. Using the example of the modernization of the self-propelled fleet of PJSC "Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company" according to the Stage V standard, the feasibility of achieving energy resource cost forecasting accuracy of over 99% was confirmed. A significant anti-corruption and economic effect from automated monitoring was revealed, manifesting in a radical reduction in specific fuel consumption and the optimization of crew sizes. The architecture of a digital ecosystem is proposed, covering the informational, analytical, and strategic levels of managerial decision-making. The authors established that digital transformation is not an optional element of automation but a fundamental prerequisite for maintaining the competitiveness of the shipping business. The synergy of deep technical renovation and intelligent monitoring systems becomes a key mechanism for ensuring financial stability amidst high bunker fuel prices and freight market instability. The practical implementation of the proposed strategies facilitates the accelerated integration of domestic shipping enterprises into the European transport network through adherence to the principles of "green" logistics and digital transparency. The scientific novelty of the work lies in detailing the mechanisms for adapting maritime transport to wartime economy conditions through predictive analytics tools and Smart technologies.
