Improving the Enterprise Strategic Management System in the Internet Environment

Abstract. The article examines the theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of improving the enterprise strategic management system under the conditions of the dynamic development of the Internet environment and the digital economy. It is substantiated that the strengthening role of digital markets and online platforms, transformations in consumer behavior, and the growing importance of data significantly change the conditions for the formation and implementation of enterprises’ strategic decisions. Under such circumstances, traditional strategic management systems focused on the relative stability of the external environment and long-term linear planning prove to be insufficiently effective and fail to ensure an adequate level of strategic flexibility and adaptability. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and develop a methodological approach to improving the enterprise strategic management system in the Internet environment based on the integration of analytical diagnostics, the formation of strategic goals, the development and implementation of adaptive digital strategies, and strategic control mechanisms. The article proposes an adaptive multi-contour methodological approach based on the interconnected interaction of analytical-diagnostic, strategic, operational-instrumental, and control contours. The expediency of considering the Internet environment not only as an external factor but as an active element of the strategic management system is substantiated, as it directly influences the formation of strategic goals, the selection of tools for their achievement, and the mechanisms of strategic control. Particular attention is paid to the integration of digital tools at all stages of the strategic process, the orientation toward dynamic strategic capabilities of the enterprise, and the formation of a closed feedback loop that ensures the continuity of strategic development. The practical significance of the research results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed methodological approach in enterprise activities to enhance the substantiation of strategic decisions, reduce strategic risks, and ensure sustainable development in the context of the digital economy.Downloads
