The purpose of the article is to develop and substantiate methodological approaches that will contribute to the formation of effective strategies for financial support of sustainable development of passenger transport enterprises. To achieve this purpose, the study used several established scientific methods. Generalization methods were utilized to summarize contemporary approaches to implementing sustainable development goals within passenger transport enterprises and to identify potential sources of financing. Additionally, these methods helped formulate conclusions and recommendations. The method of logical synthesis was applied to theoretically substantiate the significance of studying financial support for the sustainable development of passenger transport enterprises. The use of analysis and synthesis methods allowed us to show the peculiarities of ensuring the functioning of passenger transport enterprises in the context of sustainable development. The method of building diagrams and models was used to visualize the study's results and their schematic interpretation. Results. A comprehensive strategy for providing financial support to promote the sustainable development of passenger transport enterprises is proposed. This strategy is complex and multifaceted, grounded in the principles of sustainable development. It integrates economic, social, and environmental factors to ensure the long-term sustainability of the industry. Conclusions. The formation of a strategy for financial support of passenger transport enterprises, taking into account the goals and concept of sustainable development, will ensure not only the financial sustainability of the companies but also contribute to improving the quality of transport services, preserving the environment and meeting the social needs of the population.
