Prospects for the Implementation of the City Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure in Kyiv

Abstract

Abstract: The article is devoted to the formation of prospects for the implementation of the Urban Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of Kyiv. The research is based on the study of key principles and main directions of the implementation of the approved target program and substantiation of proposals for priority ways to increase the efficiency of the functioning of the city's transport infrastructure. The purpose of the article is to determine the main indicators of the implementation of the Urban Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of Kyiv in 2024-2025. The methodological basis of the research is the systemic and dialectical approaches to the financial support of the development of urban transport enterprises in Kyiv. In the process of solving the tasks set, general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, observation, comparison and grouping. Results. The directions of the implementation of the Urban Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of Kyiv in 2024-2025 were analyzed. The system of measures related to the implementation of the national project "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine" by attracting loan funds from the European Investment Bank (EIB) was considered. The amount of financial resources required for the implementation of the program was determined, and an analysis of funding sources was conducted (at the expense of the state budget, local budget, and financial resources from other sources). The main indicators of the Urban Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of the City of Kyiv were formed. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the basis for the implementation of the Urban Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of the City of Kyiv is the achievement of an increase in the length of the metro, the development of bicycle paths and an increase in bicycle mobility, a reduction in the level of wear and tear of the rolling stock of trolleybuses, trams, buses and other types of public transport.
