Abstract

An important factor in ensuring the competitiveness of an enterprise is a well-established human capital management process. This article is devoted to determining the role of forming SQL-queries for assessing the efficiency of human capital of an enterprise. The article is aimed at developing and describing a methodology for assessing the efficiency of human capital at an enterprise using SQL queries. The proposed methodology makes it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each of the employees of an organisation, and at the same time to optimise internal organisational processes based on objective data. The presented methodology reveals the peculiarities of forming the human capital efficiency indicator. The calculation is based on the following components: achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), level of employee competencies, employee self-assessment, feedback from the company's management and other employees. The materials of the study also describe a tool in the form of a SQL query, which can be used to compare efficiency between departments of an organisation and identify the most efficient and least efficient departments of an enterprise. With this tool, the company's management is able to obtain information about the need for additional human capital, as well as the need to improve the skills of personnel in certain departments. An equally important indicator in the methodology is the verification of the most effective employees of the organisation. Thanks to the results obtained after executing this SQL query, a basis with up-to-date information appears, which allows scaling up effective motivation approaches and creating a comprehensive motivation system at the enterprise. In particular, the article discusses the correlation between the length of service of employees and the level of efficiency. This analysis reveals hidden patterns and is valuable from the point of view of planning the professional development of staff. Another component of the developed methodology is the analysis of employee efficiency over time. This SQL query aims to help HR managers identify external factors affecting human capital and its functionality. The final component of this methodology is to compare employee performance with their goals. If the SQL query shows that employees are exceeding their targets, they should be rewarded accordingly. In case the staff fails to achieve the set goals, they should be thoroughly worked on to improve their productivity. The integration of the proposed methodology for assessing the effectiveness of human capital in an enterprise using SQL queries will significantly improve human resource management and create a healthy competitive environment within the organisation, which will contribute to the overall growth of the company and the emergence of innovations.
