Formation and Development of Relationships of Diversified Business Structures

Abstract

Diversified business structures are the basis for the effective development of modern society. The effectiveness of the functioning of these structures determines the effectiveness of their management measures. This is possible by building rational, effective, sustainable relationships between the constituent elements of diversified business structures. The paper proposes an approach to the formation and development of relationships of a diversified business structure. The methods of analysis, comparison, abstraction, and graphic were used for the study. The use of the proposed approach allows diversified business structures, when establishing certain relationships, to specify the points of contact between the constituent elements of diversified enterprises in accordance with their effectiveness, feasibility, and development potential. That is, it allows: to formalize relationships between structural units; to determine critical points of influence on the functioning of a diversified structure, opportunities, and the need for diversification; to assess the level and type of relationships, the feasibility of their reorganization in accordance with existing and potential types of diversification or to regroup relationships in accordance with the selected type of diversification; to provide information support for operational management, etc. That is, the recommendations provided contribute to determining the possibilities and feasibility of adjusting certain types of relationships or building new ones by forming different scenarios for the development of diversified business structures based on the results of changing the conditions of their functioning. The proposed recommendations will contribute to the efficiency of rationalizing existing relationships of diversified business structures and building strategically effective organizational and economic relationships of diversified business structures depending on changes in the conditions of their functioning or the features of the development of individual components of these structures.
