Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the growing role of organizational leadership in the formation of corporate culture and ensuring personnel motivation in the conditions of modern transformations of the business environment. The purpose of the article is to determine the mechanisms of influence of different styles of organizational leadership on the formation and transformation of corporate culture and to identify their significance for increasing employee motivation and involvement. The methodological basis of the study is the systemic and structural-functional approaches, as well as methods of content analysis of scientific sources, comparative analysis of leadership styles, generalization and theoretical modeling. As a result of the study, it was established that organizational leadership acts as a system-forming factor in the development of corporate culture, since it is through leadership decisions that values are institutionalized, behavioral norms are formed and communication standards of the organization are set. The analysis has shown that transformational, service, democratic and ethical leadership styles generate cultural models that enhance psychological safety, autonomy, sense of competence and value consistency of employees, which, according to modern theories of motivation, leads to an increase in internal motivation and staff involvement. In contrast, authoritarian and transactional styles form regulated, hierarchical and low-dynamic cultural environments in which external, short-term motivation prevails. The study also made it possible to systematize management practices that provide a motivational effect through culture: strategically coordinated communication, granting autonomy, recognition of contribution, staff development, procedural justice and support for team interaction. The practical significance of the results lies in the possibility of using the proposed leadership approaches and culture-oriented management practices to increase staff motivation, strengthen organizational identification and form sustainable, innovative and competitive corporate cultures.
