The purpose of the article is to develop and substantiate methodological approaches to the economic evaluation of practice-oriented training platforms for the training of car service engineers, while accounting for the challenges posed by the digital transformation of the labor market. The study aims to analyze such platforms as tools for investing in human capital, which increase labor productivity, shorten personnel adaptation periods, and reduce indirect costs for employers. The study used methods of systemic and comparative analysis, generalization of scientific approaches, structural and logical modeling and economic analysis. Based on an analysis of modern scientific publications on digital, VR, and AR platforms in professional training of technical specialists, a systematization of economic indicators for assessing the effectiveness of practice-oriented training platforms was conducted. An analytical approach was applied to interpreting the impact of training on labor productivity, the quality of professional tasks, and the adaptation of car service engineers to the digital labor market. It is substantiated that practice-oriented training platforms perform a dual function, combining the formation of applied digital competencies of employees with the achievement of economic effects for car service enterprises. A system of economic indicators for assessing the effectiveness of such platforms is proposed, covering cost, process, performance, quality, and adaptation components. A generalized analytical model for assessing the economic effectiveness of training platforms is developed, enabling correlation of the total economic effect of their use with the costs of implementation and operation. It is shown that the use of practice-oriented digital platforms increases the efficiency of human capital use, reduces operational risks, and improves the alignment of engineers’ competencies with the requirements of the digital labor market. The use of result-oriented economic approaches enabled the assessment of practice-oriented platforms, taking into account both educational learning outcomes and labor productivity, as well as the speed of personnel adaptation. The proposed methodological approaches provide a basis for informed investment decisions in human capital development in the auto service sector. Further research should be directed towards empirical verification of the proposed models and the development of industry tools for economic assessment of the effectiveness of digital training platforms.
